Claim a Free Confidence & Self-Defense Intro Class

Let your child try a beginner-friendly class before you commit. They’ll meet the instructor, experience the class environment, and see how our program builds confidence, focus, respect, and self-defense skills.

During the free intro class, your child will:

  • Try a beginner-friendly martial arts lesson

  • Practice focus and listening skills

  • Learn a simple self-defense principle

  • Meet the instructor and other students

Real self-defense starts before a fight ever happens. Students learn how to stay calm, use their words, create distance, and only defend themselves when there is no other safe option

Our Youth Karate program is guided by the 7-5-3 Code: a simple framework for building Character, Health, and Mindset.
 
Students are not just learning techniques. They are learning how to become more respectful, resilient, focused, and prepared for life.

7 Warrior Virtues

- CHARACTER -

The Seven Warrior Virtues help guide our interactions with others. With these virtues in mind, we strive to do right by others and ourselves, not allowing our training to falsely inflate our ego, sense of power, or self-importance.

  • Honor: The quality of knowing and doing what is morally right.

  • Courage: The ability to do something that is frightening; bravery.

  • Honesty: The absence of pretense, deceit, or hypocrisy.

  • Loyalty: Strong support or allegiance.

  • Rectitude: Morally correct behavior or thinking; righteousness.

  • Politeness: Behavior that is respectful and considerate of other people.

  • Benevolence: The quality of being well-meaning; kindness.

5 Keys of Health

- HEALTH -

The Five Keys to Health assist us in ensuring that we are at our most physically fit, so our training does not suffer and so that we are prepared when needed.

  • Manage Stress: Learn to stay calm, breathe, and make good choices even when life feels challenging.

  • Rational Nutrition: Fuel your body with balanced foods that help you feel strong, focused, and ready to train.

  • Sensible Exercise: Move your body in ways that build strength, energy, coordination, and long-term health.

  • Positive Attitude: Choose effort, gratitude, and resilience so you can keep growing through every challenge.

  • Proper Hygiene (Mental and Physical): Take care of your body and mind through cleanliness, healthy habits, rest, and positive thoughts.

3 States of Mind

- MINDSET -

The Three States of Mind guide our inner relationship, so that we will think with clear mindedness and wisdom.

  • Alertness: Stay aware of yourself, others, and your surroundings so you can make smart choices.

  • Clear Mind: Keep your thoughts calm and focused so you can respond with control instead of emotion. 

  • Indomitable: Never give up when things get hard or you fail; keep trying with courage, discipline, and determination.

OUR MISSION: At Fountain Fitness & Martial Arts, our mission is to help students, members, and families build the strength, confidence, discipline, focus, and resilience to handle whatever life brings next.

Through whole-body fitness, martial arts, self-defense seminars, nutrition goal coaching, and youth programs, we create a supportive environment where people of all ages can grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit.
