This summer, give your child the ultimate experience summer experience, while setting them up for success after summer!
7-5-3 Academy, has the developed a weekly Summer Warrior Course program with a new main topic and theme each week.
Each weekly course is designed to keep kids engaged, active, and learning in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. In addition to the weekly theme, other activities and topics include: karate, arts and crafts, story creation, science projects, basic Japanese language, martial art weapon training (swords, indoor archery, ninja stars), and so much more.
Designed to be more then a traditional martial arts program or a boring summer school class. We have developed a blended fun, education, and martial arts into our Summer Warrior Course.
Youth will be led on a journey of discovery into learning martial arts and gain positive self-image and self-reliance, focus, respect, and compassion. They will also be guided to develop balance through arts and crafts, story and theater, basic Japanese language, and science projects.
Our Summer Warrior Course provides a on-of-a-kind, all-inclusive summer experience unlike any other.
Extended care is provided free and included, allowing parents and kids to benefit from an amazing, convenient, and stress-free environment.

Parents, are you looking for a break from the busy schedule of the school year and constantly trying to get your child to their next activity, while juggling your work schedule?
7-5-3 Academy developed the Summer Warrior Course not only for youth. Our inclusive summer course is a one-stop location to help you with your work, ability to perform daily errands and life's requirements while alleviating the worry over your child's activities.
The 7-5-3 Academy code of ethics are ground in the principles of the Bushido Code and the 7-5-3 Code. All students, members, practitioners, and instructors will uphold the values of Respect, Honor and Integrity.
Our philosophy and method of teaching is based on creating an enrichment of life through balance and self-discovery using not only the physicality of martial arts, but the beauty in art creation, understanding of others through foreign language, and unlocking the mysteries of Earth and beyond using science.
Each Week Presents a New Theme
The 7-5-3 Academy Summer Warrior Course is presented in weekly focused themes for an awesome summer experience like no other. All weekly courses are $360, unless noted
Week 1: May 28 to 31 - Wilderness Survival - $288 due to closure on May 27th.
Week 2: June 3 to 7 - Movie Magic Animation
Week 3: June 10 to 14 - Around the World in 5-Days
Week 4: June 17 to 21 - Detective Week
Week 5: June 24 to 28 - Dinosaurs
Week 6: July 1 to 5 - Secret Agent
Week 7: July 8 to 12 - Jedi Academy
Week 8: July 15 to 19 - Lost In Space
Week 9: July 22 to 26 - Samurai Olympics
Daily Routine
The daily routine and times will vary each week with each theme. The following is an example guide to the weekly breakdown of activities.
08:55 - 09:15 a.m. - DROP OFF, Orientation to Week
09:15 - 10:00 a.m. - Activity 1: Martial Arts of the Samurai
10:00 - 10:15 a.m.- Active Play Break / Snack Time
10:15 - 11:00 a.m. - Activity 2: Foreign Language
11:15 - 11:30 a.m. - Active Play Break
11:30 - 12:15 p.m. - Theme of the Week
12:15 - 1:00 p.m. - Lunch / Active Play Break
1:00 - 1:45 p.m. - Activity 4: Creative Visual Art or Science Tech Lab
1:45 - 2:00 p.m. - Active Play Break
2:00 - 2:30 p.m. - Samurai Weapon Training
2:30 - 3:15 p.m. - Theme of the Week
3:15 - 3:30 p.m. - PICK UP - if not picked up at 3:30 p.m., youth will be enrolled into Extended Care.
EXTENDED CARE
If an emergency or work schedule prevents the pickup of student by final hour of 3:30 p.m., they will be enrolled into Extended Care. This is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday until 4:15 p.m. Any appropriate billing for extended care is per 45 minutes, whether it is the whole 45 minutes or a fraction of it.
7-5-3 ACADEMY MEMBERS
For 7-5-3 Academy Members with active Membership Plan.
On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, extended care is offered for FREE as part of your normal Mini Dragons and/or Youth Karate Membership.
On Tuesday and Thursday, we offer free extended care until 4:15 p.m. as part of our Summer Warrior Course enrollment !
NON-MEMBERS
Non-members without an active 7-5-3 Academy Mini Dragon or Youth Karate Membership Plan.
On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, your child will be enrolled into extended care if not picked up by 3:30 p.m. They will participate in the Mini Dragon and Youth Karate Classes until the latest picked up of 5:30 p.m. You will be charged for each class at rate of $45. Become a Member and save $$$.
On Tuesday and Thursday, we only offer extended care until the latest pick up of 4:15 p.m. You will be charged $45 each use of this service.

Weekly Themes and Registration
Week 1: May 28 - 31
Wilderness Survival
This is the opening week of our Summer Warrior Course. Due to holiday on Monday, 27th, this week is only 4 days and cost has been prorated as such.
What do you do if lost, injured, and with no shelter. Youth will be learning about survival in the wilderness from navigation, map reading, using a compass, making a shelter, first aid, and so much more. This information is a must for modern adventurers.

Week 2: June 3 - 7
Movie Magic
We will explore the excitement of creating a movie using stop motion animation. Youth will be provided with different props to plan, shoot and edit their own stop motion animation short movie.
Youth will work as part of a team and be guided through the entire process of stop motion animation. On the final day, the groups will present their created movie and leave with a digital copy for themselves.

Week 3: June 10 - 17
Around The World in 5 Days
We have all heard of Around the World in 80-days, well, we are going to see the world in one week. We have a fun and explorative way to journey around the world, learn about different cultures and people, animals, foods, famous archeological sites and places of mystery and wonder.
Each day this week will be centered on a new continent. Our plane departs 7-5-3 Academy, and journeys to destinations in North America, South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia, before returning home

Week 4: June 17 - 21
Crime Scene Detective
Can you help collect the evidence and solve the mystery?
Youth will be learning the art of being a detective.
Topics will include evidence collection, questioning suspects, note taking, and critical thinking to solve a mystery destined for a best selling book … Murder on the Samurai Express.

Week 5: June 24 - 28
Dinosaur Week
Are there any living dinosaurs today? We will be traveling back in time to look at some amazing dinosaurs, and their current living descendants.
Youth will learn about paleontology, discover fossils, use imagination to create the ultimate dinosaur, and explore different types of today’s living dinosaurs. After this week, looking at rocks and animals will never be the same again

Week 6: July 1 - 5
Secret Agent
Youth will be taken back in time to the samurai era for a journey as a secret samurai on a mission to get infiltrate the enemy castle and recover the stolen scroll of power.
The mission, should they chose to accept, will be to learn to become a samurai spy with a mission to infiltrate the enemy stronghold, navigate dangerous lands, avoid confrontation when needed, however, be ready to deliver swift justice in order to recover the stolen Sword of Destiny. This message will self-destruct in 5..4..3..2..1 LOL.

Week 7: July 8 - 12
Jedi Academy
Do you have a calling for balance and order? Ever wonder what it would be like to wield a light saber? The 7-5-3 Jedi Academy will open it’s doors for one week of training. Using our light sabers, youth will experience the power of balance, while learning sword techniques and movements. We will be exploring the techniques and movements of the Jedi and how to win against the dark side.

Week 8: July 15 - 19
Lost in Space
Did you know the anniversary of the Moon Landing happens in July? There is no better time to get lost (and found) in space. We will be exploring space from science to the science fiction.
Get started now on the weeklong mission to explore strange worlds and seek out new life and civilizations. Youth will explore the planets and other solar systems, and gain the knowledge of the stars. We even have our own rocket ship ready to explore the universe in.

Week 9: July 22-26
Samurai Olympics
The next Olympics start this July in Paris. We will be hosting our Warrior Olympics all week. This will be a sporting event centered around the martial arts of the samurai.
All events will be practiced prior to final medal round competitions on the last day. The most emphasized part of this week is having fun, learning something new with samurai martial arts, developing a skill, working as a team, doing our individual best, and great sportsmanship.
